Цели урока
1. Совершенствовать умения и навыки устной речи
2. Расширение кругозора учащихся через лингвострановедческую информацию.
3. Поддерживать интерес к изучению английского языка
Задачи :
Обучающие:
- практика речевой деятельности (монологической и диалогической);
- активизация лексики по теме;
- формирование и развитие коммуникативных умений;
- расширение словарного запаса.
Развивающие:
- развитие мышления, умения дать оценку, высказать своё мнение на английском языке;
- интеллектуальное развитие;
- развитие фантазии, воображения;
Воспитательные:
- формирование уважения и интереса к изучению английского языка;
- воспитание культуры общения;
- формирование умения работать в парах, помогать друг другу.
- стимулирование интереса учащихся к культуре стран изучаемого языка.
Ход урока
1. Организационный этап
Hello boys and girls. I’m glad to meet you. Take your seats please.
What date is it today? (Today is the 14th of March)
What’s the weather like today? (It is……..)
It’s a nice day. I like to go for a walk on such weather. And what do you like?
( I like going out with my friends)

Today we shall talk about famous people, or so called celebrities. We’ll discuss sportsmen, musicians and movie stars.
3. Речевая разминка.
First of all lets decide what a famous person is for you?
While you are thinking it over lets see how your classmates answer this question.
Затем видеоролик , в котором звучит вопрос “What is a famous person for you?”
- is a person who is widely known in the country
- is someone who gets a lot of public and media attention
- a public figure such as a politician, an actor or actress or a musician
- A celebrity is someone who is famous in the media. It used to be just actors and actresses that were celebrities but now people TV, reality show stars, sports stars can be considered celebrities.
Now lets make our own definition of a famous person

- someone well known and well paid for being famous
- the celebrity is a person who is popular and well known because of his talent or craft
- is a sportsman, an actor, a singer, even a president can be a famous person.

- Yes. You are right. What winter sports do you remember from our lessons?
We are going to watch a video episode in which you’ll see Dr Mario and Sonic, famous cartoon stars, doing some winter sports. While watching you should name the sports.

-You see some famous Russian Sportsmen on the Board in the first column, in the second column there different kinds of sports. Your task is to match these two columns.

You know as for me I am not fond of sports. I can’t imagine my life without music. And what about you? Ask your neighbour about his or her music tastes. After that you’ll tell your classmates about your partner’s likes and dislikes

- What can you tell us about her?
- Lenka is an Australian singer–songwriter, known for her song "The Show," from her self-titled album Lenka. Her latest song "Everything at Once" was used in a Windows 8 advert.
The daughter of a Czech musician and an Australian schoolteacher, Lenka was born in Australian, New South Wales. When she was seven, her family moved to Sydney, where she studied at school. She got music training there too, and started to work as a musician
