«Holidays. Merry Christmas» Сценарий внеклассного мероприятия по английскому языку, 6-7 класс
Урок по английскому языку для учащихся 6-7 классов с использованием современных компьютерных технологий, а также игровых форм при активизации и закреплении лексических навыков по теме «Holidays. Merry Christmas» в монологической речи учащихся по учебнику М.З. Биболетовой «Enjoy English».
Тема: «Holidays. Merry Christmas».
Тип занятия: комбинированный урок.
Цель урока: расширять кругозор учащихся, развивать интерес к изучению иностранного языка посредством занимательных форм обучения.
Задачи:
- познавательный аспект: расширять с помощью английского языка представление обучающихся об окружающем их мире, о языке как средстве взаимодействия с этим миром;
- развивающий аспект: развитие навыков проектной работы, развитие памяти, мышления, воображения учащихся, развитие творческого потенциала учащихся;
- учебный аспект: тренировать у учащихся лексико-грамматические навыки, навыки говорения;
- воспитательный аспект: прививать интерес к изучаемому языку, воспитывать взаимоуважение и чувство ответственности.
Подготовка к мероприятию:
- наглядные: презентация (Приложение №1);
- раздаточный материал: тексты.
Сценарий мероприятия
I. Организационный. Слайд №1.
T: Good afternoon, boys and girls! Glad to see you.
Cl: Glad to see you, too.
Сообщение темы урока.
T: Sit down, please. I’m very glad to see you. How are you? Feeling friendly? Today we are going to have an interesting time together. The theme of today’s lesson is “Merry Christmas”.
II. Развитие навыков чтения.
T: You have texts. Let’ read a piece of information about this holiday. (Дети читают текст.)
Now, look at the screen. There are some sentences according to the text. Choose the correct answer. (Приложение№1. Слайд №2-3.)
III. Развитие навыков монологической речи.
T: Christmas has so many meanings. How brightly they blend into our lives as we share something special all across the miles and years. One of the things that I love about Christmas is seeing the kids with their bright eyes and happy smiles. So, why do we love Christmas? (Слайд №4.)
P1: I love Christmas because there are plenty of chocolates and candy canes.
P2: I love Christmas because it’s time to share happiness and hugs.
P3: I like Christmas because there’s plenty of cakes and ice cream.
P4: I love Christmas because of merry Santa Clause and Christmas tree.
P5: I like Christmas because of angels, songs and oranges.
T: Christmas is the season for kindling the fire of hospitality in the hall, the genial flame of charity in the heart. The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other. And what is Christmas for you? (Слайд №5.)
P1: Christmas for me is fur tree with toys and garlands in the middle of the room.
P2: Christmas for me is chocolates, candy canes and beautifully decorated Christmas cards.
P3: Christmas for me is candles.
P4: Christmas for me is meeting Santa Claus.
P5: Christmas for me is presents in the stockings or under the Christmas tree.
P6: Christmas for me is being with my family and having Christmas dinner with a great deal of tasty food.
P7: Christmas for me is skating, skiing, playing snowballs and making a snowman.
T: I’m happy to hear that.
IV. Развитие навыков письма.
T: Now, children it’s high time to sign you prepared greeting postcards. Choose from the given Christmas wishes which you find most suitable. (Слайд №6.)
IV. Развитие грамматических навыков. (Условные предложения 2 типа.)
T: Well, let’s imagine that we are Santa. What would you do in this case? You may choose given variants or suggest your own ideas. (Слайд №7.)
V. Релаксация.
Let’s sing a song about Christmas. (Слайд №8.)
VI. Игра-соревнование.
T: We can’t imagine any holiday without tea-break. That’s why let’s learn how to make it properly. Work in groups. The first row will be the first group, the second row - the second group, the third row – the third group. Your task is to put the following sentences in the correct order. So we’ll learn how Englishmen make tea. (Слайд №9.)
- Fill the kettle with cold water.
- Boil the water.
- Put one teaspoon of tea into the pot for each person and one extra for the pot.
- Then pour a little boiling water into a teapot to warm it.
- Pour boiling water into the teapot.
- Wait 2-3 minutes.
- Enjoy your tea!
VII. Презентация проектов.
Ps: Christmas is the most important public holiday in the country. The 24th December is called “Christmas Eve”, the 25th “Christmas Day” and the 26th “Boxing Day”. The 25th and 26th are public holidays. Before the 25th, people send Christmas cards to their relatives. Many families decorate their houses with a Christmas tree. They give presents to family and friends. Children believe that Father Frost or Santa Claus brings the presents. He has a white beard and wears a red suit. The traditional Christmas meal includes turkey and Christmas pudding. People pull crackers after meal.
