Yes, we         are going to talk about birthday,  remember dates of your birthdays, learn some new words and you show me how you’ve  learnt  words of food and drinks, decorations and activities.

But first listen to the sounds and repeat them.

Teacher: What season do you like?

Ch 1:I like winter.

Teacher: What’s the weather like in winter?

Ch 2:It is very beautiful. The snow is everywhere.

Teacher: What can you do in winter?

Ch 3:I can go skiing or play in the snow.

Teacher: What do you wear?

 Ch 4:It is cold but I wear warm clothes and boots.

Учитель обращает  внимание учащихся на заголовок модуля Special days и просит  подобрать к нему русские эквиваленты (значимые дни, особые дни, праздники), спрашивает, какие особые дни (государственные праздники, традиционные народные празднования) есть в нашей стране. Просит  объяснить, почему они имеют особое значение. Просит определить  возможные аспекты темы, рассматриваемые в данном модуле.

Teacher: What is this module about?

Ch1:  The title means days when we celebrate something like a birthday.

Ch2: The module will describe different celebrations.

Ch3: We celebrate New Year, Christmas, Women’s day, Victory

day.

Ch4: They are special days, all people of our country celebrate them.

Ch5: We don’t study and our parents don’t work on these days.

Просит  учащихся посмотреть на рисунки на с. 95 и найти их в модуле. Просит использовать предлагаемые картинки 1—3 как основу для высказываний учащихся и мотивирующего обсуждения темы модуля.
