I Подготовка учащихся к иноязычной речевой деятельности.
1.T.: Good morning, children! I’m very glad to see you. Sit down, please. Today we are going to continue our travel in the town which is called Past Simple. Today we will Irregular Verbs. We will also revise the text about Robin, and recall how to say what you did yesterday.
2) Речевая зарядка
T.: Children, I know one funny poem. I hope you will like it. In this poem we’ll have to pronounce the sound [i] very often. Let’s pronounce it all together.
T.: Fine!
T.: Now you are ready to listen to my favourite poem. Listen to it, be attentive.
This little pig went to market,
This little pig stayed at home,
This little pig had roast beef,
This little pig had none,
And this little pig went wee, wee, wee,
All the way home.
T.: Have you understood everything? What is it about?
T.: Good. Now look at this picture. Here is the poem. Let’s read and translate it line by line. (Учащиеся читают стих по строчке, а более сильные переводят.)
T.: Let’s read it all together faster.
T.: Good. Can you read a bit more faster? Let’s try all together.

T.: Look at the blackboard. Here is a map of the country DoDidDone. Who can show where we are?
T.: Quite right. We are in the town which is called Past Simple. Please, tell me some words about it.

T.: Thanks a lot. We have also got acquainted with some of its inhabitants. They are all wearing green coats with big letters –ED on them. We call them Regular Verbs. What do you know about them?

T.: and do you remember the name of the street where we have been last time?
T.: Right. It is Positive Sentence Street. What do Regular Verbs do there? How do they behave?

T.: So, we have revised everything we need to say what my friend Mike did yesterday. He cannot write but he can draw. That’s why he painted everything he did yesterday. Look at these pictures and describe his actions.
(демонстрируются картинки, на которых изображены действия, которые можно выразить правильными глаголами. Слабым учащимся раздаются карточки с теми же глаголами, где они должны образовать 2 форму, более сильные учащиеся составляют предложения по картинкам.)

T.: Children, do you remember the legend which Regular Verbs told us?

IV Введение нового грамматического понятия –IrregularVerbs(Lesson3,p179)
T.: Thanks a lot. You helped Regular Verbs to revise the legend. Now they can tell it to their friends. Oh, here they are. Look at the blackboard. They do not look like Regular Verbs. They are wearing coats in different colors with number 2 on them. They are called Irregular Verbs. Please, open your books at page 179 and read about them.
T.: What did you learn about Irregular Verbs?
T.: Итак, ребята, как вы уже поняли, неправильные глаголы – это те глаголы, которые не подчиняются правилу образования правильных глаголов. Именно поэтому их назвали неправильными. Их формула – V2. Чтобы не запутаться в неправильных глаголах, создана специальная таблица. Вот в ней во 2-ой колонке мы будем смотреть форму неправильного глагола в Past Simple.
T.: Let’s have a look at it. Open your books at page 245. Here is the table.
T.: Our new friends are going for a walk. Let’s join them. Oh, look, it is Positive Sentence Street. Let’s see what Irregular Verbs do there. Look at page 179, read the rule. Repeat it again.
T.: Now we will conjugate some irregular verbs in Past Simple. First, look at the example on page 180. ( to become, to build…..)
T.: Good of you. I know that it’s not an easy matter to learn irregular verbs. That’s why I will give you a poem which can help you. Today we will write down only a small part of this poem. (Раздаются карточки с неправильными глаголами.)
To write - wrote - written,
To eat - ate - eaten,
To speak - spoke - spoken,
To break - broke - broken.
To come - came - come,
To become - became - become,
To run - ran - run,
To swim - swam - swum.
