План-конспект урока по теме:”Простое Прошедшее Время – КонструкцияUsedTo/Would” УМК “Spotlight9”
Оборудование: мультимедийный проектор для демонстрации слайдов в программе Power Point, , диск CD-R, таблица времен.
Цели урока: освоить (на основе обобщения изученного ранее) распознавание и употребление в речи Past tenses; освоить понимание и употребления в речи конструкций used to/would; развивать компетенцию личностного самосовершенствования, формировать ценностные ориентации.
Задачи урока :
Образовательная :
- формирование лексических умений и навыков в устной речи
- формирование грамматических навыков на материале прошедшего совершенного и прошедшего совершенного продолженного времени
- отработка произносительных навыков.
Развивающая:
- развить владение всеми видами речевой деятельности (говорение, чтение, письмо).
Воспитательная :
- прививать любовь и интерес к иностранному языку;
- воспитывать умение работать в парах, группах, самостоятельно, по цепочке.
Ход урока:
1.Началоурока
Hello, boys and girls! I am glad to see you today. I hope you are fine and all are ready to work hard at our lesson, aren’t you? So let’s start our lesson. The topic of the lesson is “Past Tenses”.

3. Развитие навыков говорения (учащиеся отвечают на следующие вопросы)
Children answer some questions:
Have you heard of the Loch Ness Monster?
Where is he from?
Has the Yeti been the part of Tibetan folklore for years?
Have you ever thought about travelling abroad?
Did you go to the art gallery last weekend?
4. Грамматика.
Повторение группы прошедших времен (на основе ранее изученного грамматического материала).
Look at the board. Read the sentence. Name the tense in the sentence.
-Yesterday I woke up late. (Past Simple).
-I was studying for my exams all last week. (Past Continuous).
-I was working in the garden when it started to rain. (Past Continuous, Past Simple – an action that interrupted an action in progress in the past).
-He was talking on the phone while I was working.(Past Continuous).
-I had written the letter before mum came home. (Past Perfect).

Practicing the Past Simple and Past Continuous.
Put the verbs in brackets into the Past Simple or Past Continuous: (стр.46 №3)
Sam: Who 1…(be) that on the phone, Anna?
Ann: George. I 2… (think) about him when he 3 … (call), actually.
Sam: It is! 4 … (I tell) you what 5 …(happen) to me and my mum when we 6 … (shop) in London a few years ago?
Ann: No, what?
Sam: Well, we 7… (look) around an old second hand bookshop when my mum 8…(come) across one of her favorite childhood books. She 9 … (show) it to me and when she 10…(open) it, 11…(have) her name written inside!
Ann: Wow, so it 12…(be) her very own book! I bet you 13 …(not expect) that!
Sam: No, I didn’t.

Yesterday, since, ago, while, when, for, last summer, at five o’clock yesterday afternoon, by June.
Eg: I didn’t watch TV yesterday.
Fill in the gaps with the verbs in the right –hand column in there correct past forms: (стр.47 №9)
Eleanor Seagrove and her dog Rusty 1…along the beach one Sunday afternoon. Rusty 2… himself running along the sand and barking happily. Suddenly he and Eleanor 3… . As they looked up, a strange round metallic object like a giant football 4 … in the sky. It was travelling very fast and coming straight for them. Eleanor 5… never … anything like it before. Terrified, she and Rusty fell down in the sand. The ‘football’ hovered near them for a moment and then 6…. Over the horizon. Eleanor was sure she 7… as Unidentified Flying Object!
