Раздел 5. Урок 2.

Тема: «I must phone my Mum»

Цели и задачи урока:

1. Ввести новый лексический материал и отработать его употребление в речи.
2. Практиковать учащихся в чтении и обсуждении прочитанного.
3. Развивать навыки устной речи.

• материал: to stay, to look for, to dial, to be in, later, area code, to worry, for a while, country code, at the moment. Can I take a message?

Ход урока

1. Приветствие и организационный момент начала урока:

T: Good morning, children! I am glad to see you again. What date is today? What day is it today? Are you ready for the lesson? How are you, P1? Are you fine, P2? Are you OK, P3? (Беседа ведется во фронтальном режиме).

T: Fine, let’s begin!

1. Речевая зарядка.

T: Imagine we have a visit. Who wants to be our guest?

1. 1: I want to be your guest. T: Who wants to be our host?
2. 2: I want to be your host. T: Can you introduce your friend to us?

(Учащиеся разыгрывают диалог «Представление хозяином гостя», см. урок 1 раздела 5).

1. Контроль домашнего задания.

T: So, we have a guest at our home. Do you remember the proverb: “When in Rome, do as the Romans do”? Let’s remember him what he (she) can do and what he (she) can’t do?

(1-2 ученика знакомят всех остальных с правилами их дома).

2. ) Т: So, our guest can use the phone. We must help him to do it. Let’s learn some new words. They are in Ex.1 on Page 82. Listen to the speaker and read these words. (Учащиеся прослушивают слова с диска, а потом читают их).

b) T: Can you guess the meaning of the underlined words in the rubric “Friends”? (Учащиеся читают предложения и переводят их на русский язык).

1. : Match the opposites in Ex.3 on Page 83. (Учащиеся находят антонимы к данным словам).
2. ) Т: Can you match the questions to the answers? Open your Workbook on Page 32 and do it. Work in pairs: the first pupil must read the question; the second one must look for the answer. (Учащиеся выполняют это упражнение в режиме Р1Учащиеся выполняют это упражнение в режиме Р1+Р2, Р3+Р4 и т.д.)

d) T: When we phone Russia from England, we must know the country code, the area code and the phone number. Let’s listen to the talk. Betsey wants to help Misha to phone Russia. (Учащиеся прослушивают диалог с диска без зрительной опоры).

• : Let’s read this dialogue once more to find the answers to these questions. Look them through. (Учащиеся просматривают вопросы, на которые они должны ответить, а затем читают диалог по ролям).

e) T: Well, are you ready to answer these questions? (Беседу по тексту можно организовать в режиме: Р1+Р2+Р3+Р4+…).

• : Very well. We know all the codes and the phone number. But how must we begin our phone talk? Read, please the rules in the rubric “When in Rome…”  (Учащиеся читают правила телефонного этикета про себя).

Т: Do you have the same rules in Russia? (Учащиеся отвечают утвердительно). So, these rules are international. Let’s sum up our knowledge. What must we know?

T:  How will you start your talk? What will you say if you are listening to him (her)? What will you say if Lena is away? (Учащиеся отвечают на эти вопросы фронтально).

Т: You are right.

1. Развитие навыков устной речи.
2. ) Т: I think you must be polite when you phone your friends. Complete the dialogues in Ex. 4 on Page 84 and read them. (Учащимся дается для восстановления диалогов 2-3 минуты. Затем они читают диалоги вслух.)

b) T: Listen and check your dialogues. (Учащиеся прослушивают диалоги с диска).

• : Well, I see you are really polite.

c) T: Can you dramatize your own dialogues. Read the task on Page 84 and 85. You’ll work in pairs. The first pair will role-play the first dialogue, the second pair – the second, and the third pair – the third. You have 2-3 minutes to get ready. (Учащиеся составляют диалоги и разыгрывают их).

6.    Подведение итогов урока. Домашнее задание.
