Образовательная цель: Совершенствование навыков чтения с извлечением основной информации по теме «Книга или киноверсия?».

Введение и первичное закрепление лексического материала по тексту.

Обучение грамматическим навыкам по теме «Общие и специальные вопросы в косвенной речи».

Развитие навыков устной речи по теме «Роль книг в жизни современного подростка».

Развивающая цель: Развитие коммуникативных способностей, компенсаторных навыков; развитие умений обобщать, доказывать и логически высказывать свои мысли.

Воспитательная цель: Развитие интереса к чтению русской и зарубежной литературы.

Фонетическая зарядка.Let’s begin our lesson with the tongue twister. But first of all, you should listen to my reading.

When a twister would twist him a twist,

For twisting a twist three twists he will twist;

But if one of the twists untwists from the twist,

The twist untwisting untwists the twist.

Read the tongue twister slowly after me. Train reading it in pairs .And try to read as quickly as you can.

Today we are going to talk about different types of books and their role in teenager’s life.

What classes can you distinguish books between?

Do you prefer reading printed or CD books? Explain your choice.

Nowadays teenagers don’t indulge in reading. How do they like to spend their spare time?

What kind of books make a great impression on you?

As an old saying goes , a man can not live bread alone. How do you understand the meaning of the sentence.

What role do books play in your life?

What do you think how a modern teenager should spend his free time?

Cовершенствование техники чтения с извлечением основной информацию. «Books or filmversions».Books or film versions.

Reading plays a very important role in the life of people. It educates a person, enriches his intellect.  Besides, books bring pleasure and delight. It's a wonderful way to spend spare time. Sometimes we read the same book again and again. Thanks to books we learn to express our thoughts and feelings more exactly. The book is a faithful and understanding friend. It can be put aside and taken up again at any moment. There are books which have been our favorites since childhood. People are fond of reading different kinds of books. Some people enjoy reading detective stories, adventure stories, novels, biographies, other prefer classics. Fairy tales are enjoyed and read by children, books about adventures and journeys are enjoyed by those who are fond of travelling. Legends and myths are read by those who are fond of history.

Through out the centuries books had an enormous influence on the minds and hearts of people. Thanks to books we can talk to people who lived in different countries and ages. Through reading books we hear their voices, thoughts and feelings. The book is the surest way to bring nations together. It helps people achieve understanding, trust, cooperation and friendship. They develop literary taste, arouse interest and curiosity, the reader's laugher as well as his tears. They teach the readers to be truthful, friendly, honest , conscientious, frank, firm, fair and serious.

Libraries play an important part in the cultural development of people. People like reading, they have a desire to learn, they seek for knowledge. Books sate this desire. There are a lot of books in our country, in our flats. But it is difficult to buy all the books which we want to read. That is why we get books in public libraries. Books shouldn't be read only for pleasure. Reading books helps us in our education. We can fond all kinds of books in the libraries. In some libraries we can find books in many foreign languages . Except books we can get periodical newspapers and magazines to read there. Readers come to reading rooms to study and prepare materials for their reports or for their scientific work.

However, there are many people who prefer watching film versions ,because of free time shortage They say it helps to save a lot of hours, which they plan to spend more usefully. I do not consider it is a right approach. Reading great classic literature does not mean wasting your time. Most people believe that films help them to imagine all the characters and places. I can not agree with this because imagination is the best helper to envisage the action.

Обучение грамматическим навыкам «Вопросительные предложения в косвенной речи»Today we’ll continue to study Reported Speech. Now we are going to acquaint ourselves with Indirect Questions.Вопросительные предложения в косвенной речи.

In the main clauses we use the following verbs :asked ,wanted to know ,wondered.If the verb of  the main clause is used in one of the past tenses ,the verb of the  direct speech will be changed  according to the rule of sequence of tenses.

There are two types of indirect questions:

1.General questions. Общиевопросы(Yes/No Questions)

В этом случае косвенные вопросы образуются с помощью if или whether, которые в данном случае переводятся как «ли».

Direct speech .He asked, “Have you met my sister?” — Онспросил: «Вызнакомысмоейсестрой?»    Reported speech. He asked if I had met his sister. — Онспросил, знаком ли ясегосестрой.

Direct speech. He asked, “May I come in?” — Онспросил: «Можновойти?»                               Reported speech. He asked whether he might come in. — Онспросил, можно ли войти.

The order of the words in indirect questions is the same as in positive sentences.                                      Прямаяречь. He asked me, “Do you speak English?”
Косвеннаяречь. He asked if I spoke English.

2. Special questions.Специальныевопросы(Wh- Questions)

These questions starting with the interrogative pronouns: who (кто), when (когда),where (где), why (почему), which (который) .
