Представлен раздаточный материал к уроку по теме “Mysterious Monsters”.
 
Цели и задачи урока:
развитие навыков аудирования;
формирование коммуникативной компетенции учащегося;
расширение словарного запаса;
развитие интереса к стране изучаемого языка;
расширение кругозора учащегося средствами иностранного языка;
развитие познавательной активности (внимания, памяти, мышления).
 
Текст для аудирования выбран из звукового сопровождения к книге для чтения “Mysteries of the Unexplained” by Kathy Burke. Penguin Active Reading.
 
Задания разработаны по принципу: предтекстовый, текстовый и послетекстовый этапы. Учащиеся выполняют задания со зрительной опорой: карта Великобритании, изображения Лохнесского чудовища и окресностей озера.
 
Mysterious Monsters
 
The next morning, he saw large footprints in the snow. They were thirty-five centimeters long and eighteen centimeters wide.
 
There are many strange living things on land and in the sea that are still a mystery. Some of them seem to come from another time. Some aren’t often seen or photographed. But enough people say that they have seen them. As a result, we want to find out more.
