1)Аудирование
Учитель зачитывает небольшие рассказы. Задача учеников угадать, о каких достопримечательностях Лондона идёт речь.
a.There are many old and new beautiful parks in London. This park is the largest one. It is one of the most popular places ofLondoners during the hot summer days. The park is famous for its Speaker's Corner. {Hyde Park.)
b. It was a fortress, a palace, a prison, a mint and the King's Zoo. Now it is a museum. You can see a lot of interesting things in the halls of this building. William the Conqueror built it in the eleventh century. Black ravens live in it. People believe that London will be rich while the ravens live there. (the Tower of London.)
c.It is one of the greatest English churches. It is not far from the Tower of London. The famous English architect Sir Christopher Wren built it in the 17th century after the Great Fire. It is a fine building with many columns and towers. In one of the towers there is one of the largest bells in the world. (St. Paul's Cathedral.)
d.It is more than nine hundred years old. There are many monuments and statues there, many English kings and queens are buried there. It is famous for the Poets’ Corner. It is one of the most famous and beautiful churches in London. This church has two tall towers. (Westminster Abbey.)
e.It is a long grey building with towers. The large clock in one of the towers is known as "Big Ben". You can hear the sound of "Big Ben" every hour in London. The clock and the bell got their names after Sir Benjamin Hall. The members of the British Parliament work in this building, (the Houses of Parliament.)

a.“Guess” («Угадай»). Учитель предлагает учащимся угадать достопримечательность по части фотографии.
-Now, look at the screen. I’ll show you a part of any interesting place and you must tell me what place it is.
b.“I want to visit” («Яхочупосетить»).Учащиеся по очереди выходят к доске. Задача класса угадать, какая достопримечательность интересует их одноклассника.
- Try to guess what place your classmates want to visit.

c.Детям предлагается составить предложение о достопримечательностях Лондона при помощи слов на доске
- Will you look at the blackboard, please? Let’s read the words on it all together. You will have some minutes to think about the way of making sentences using these words on the topic “London”.
Класс делится на группы по 3-4 человека в каждой. Всего работают 3 группы.
a.Задание №1
Каждая группа получает рассказ, где есть предложения о трёх достопримечательностях Лондона (см. дополнительные материалы) и картинку одной из достопримечательностей. Задача группы выписать из текста только те предложения, которые относятся к достопримечательности на картинке. После взаимоконтроля (при помощи экрана) члены группы читают свой рассказ вслух.
b.Задание №2 («Морской бой»)
На экране команды по очереди открывают клетки игрового поля и отвечают на вопросы

III.В заключение урока учитель предлагает одному – двум учащимся рассказать монолог о некоторых интересных местах Лондона.
-Now let’s sum up all the information and tell everything you can about 2-3 interesting places in London.

Учащимся предлагается высказать своё мнение об изученном на уроке при помощи следующих структур:
